The service is based on Mautic, the feature rich open source marketing automation software, which the company supports and is listed as a partner of.
Hosting is in Switzerland at Infomaniak. Amazon SES is still used for the actual sending, which the company documents in its list of subprocessors along with its search for an alternative. As a European alternative to the American marketing clouds, it suits companies that want Mautic managed for them.
