APPUiO is a managed Kubernetes service from Switzerland that runs OpenShift, the open source container platform Red Hat builds on top of Kubernetes. Customers choose where the cluster runs, currently between the Swiss providers cloudscale and Exoscale.
Because both the operator and the infrastructure options are Swiss, APPUiO works as a European alternative to managed Kubernetes from the large US clouds. It suits organisations that want OpenShift without maintaining the control plane themselves.
