Current public evidence shows 3 non-European infrastructure or email dependencies across 3 providers: Exoscale, Oracle Dyn, Red Hat OpenShift / IBM. The reviewed operational path is therefore not entirely European.
APPUiO Cloud provides namespaces on a shared managed Red Hat OpenShift cluster. It lets teams deploy containers without operating the underlying cluster. Dedicated managed clusters are a separate offering with different scope and contractual conditions.
VSHN AG operates APPUiO after taking it over from Puzzle in July 2024. In April 2026 VSHN explicitly stated that it has no foreign parent and all shareholders are Swiss citizens, supporting European control. Its ownership is separate from the control and processing locations of cloudscale, Exoscale and other suppliers.
The operator is VSHN AG, Neugasse 10, 8005 Zurich, CHE-275.566.226. VSHN's current sovereignty statement dated 24 April 2026 explicitly says 'no foreign parent company, all shareholders Swiss citizens'. This direct ownership disclosure supports European control; Switzerland is European although it is outside the EU. The statement is company evidence, not an independently inspected private shareholder register. VSHN's July 2024 announcement establishes its takeover of APPUiO from Puzzle.
Pricing
Published Cloud rates start at CHF 0.001135 per GiB of RAM per minute for cloudscale Flex and Exoscale Standard, about CHF 49 per 30 days. cloudscale Plus is about CHF 59 per GiB per 30 days. The minimum is 128 MiB per pod per minute, and requested resources can determine billing. Storage and other charges are extra. Prices exclude Swiss VAT, listed as 8.1%. Dedicated managed clusters require a separate quote.
