Chatwoot

Chatwoot is open source live chat software that you run on your own servers. Beyond the website widget it offers an omnichannel panel, so conversations from email, social media and WhatsApp arrive in the same place. Messages can be tagged or assigned automatically by trigger, for example by detecting the language of a message, and a customisable chatbot can handle simple requests.

Chatwoot is listed here as self-hosted open source software, so it is not necessarily European: running it on European infrastructure is what turns it into a European alternative to hosted American support tools. It suits support teams that want customer conversations on their own systems.
