Sweego

Sweego is a French platform for developers and product managers that sends transactional email and SMS. It provides an SMTP relay and an API, with delivery statistics and the raw logs from mailbox providers. Inbound email is parsed and forwarded to you as JSON over a webhook, so messages travel in both directions.

The infrastructure is hosted by OVH and Scaleway across several French data centres several hundred kilometres apart. Sweego also supports adding an expiry date to messages so they are deleted afterwards, which lowers the carbon footprint of stored email. It is a European alternative to US transactional email providers for teams that need EU hosting.

Pricing

There is a free plan for getting started, plus three paid tiers called Individual, Startup and Scaleup with different feature sets. Each plan lets you exceed its price by 30 percent, and committing for a year gives a 20 percent discount.
