Jottacloud

Jottacloud is a file hosting service from Norway for personal and business use. Office documents can be viewed and edited directly in the application, and there are apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS as well as a command line tool for scripted backups.

The company runs its own servers in Norway, powered by renewable energy, so files stay inside the EEA. As a European alternative to the American cloud drives, it suits families and companies that want backup and sync without US hosting.

Pricing

The free plan gives 5 GB of storage. The cheapest home subscription costs 6.90 euros per month and the cheapest business plan 12 euros per month for 1 TB. There are also a personal plan with unlimited storage and family plans for five members.
