Vivaldi Browser is a web browser developed in Norway. The company behind it was founded by a co-founder of Opera, the other well known browser to come out of that country, and Vivaldi itself is free to use.

A Norwegian developer puts Vivaldi outside the reach of the American companies that build most browsers, so it works as a European alternative for people who would rather not run Chrome, Edge or Safari. It suits anyone who wants their browser, the piece of software they spend the most time in, to come from a smaller European company.
