Mullvad VPN is a virtual private network service from Sweden with more than 700 servers across 38 countries. Apps are available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, plus a Firefox add-on, and all of them are published as open source on GitHub so their behaviour can be checked.

The pricing is deliberately simple: one plan, one price, no cheaper rate for signing up longer. Being Swedish, Mullvad is a European alternative to the American VPN providers and falls under EU rules. It suits people who want a straightforward, well audited VPN without upsells.
