Send text messages through European gateways

An SMS API lets your application send text messages from code, with a simple HTTP request per message and delivery reports coming back. Typical uses are order notifications, appointment reminders, phone number verification and one time codes for two factor login. Many gateways also reach other channels, such as RCS or messaging apps, through the same interface.
An SMS gateway receives recipient phone numbers and message content, so operator control and delivery paths matter. GatewayAPI has verified Danish control and offers a separate Hetzner-hosted EU setup. seven, sms.to and smstools remain listed for comparison, but their current ultimate control is unresolved. Check core hosting, support access, destination routes and optional channels separately; an EU server location does not guarantee EU-only international delivery.
