This service remains visible for context, but it is not counted or recommended as a European-controlled option.
Kolab Now is an email provider from Switzerland. The software is open source and built from the ground up around security, using only open standards for storing and exchanging data, which prevents vendor lock-in. The services are fully end-to-end encrypted and support perfect forward secrecy, with a calendar, contacts, notes and file storage around the mailbox.
Kolab Now's services are hosted in Switzerland, and the open source foundation means your data can be moved elsewhere if you want. As a European alternative to the American mail and groupware suites, it suits professionals and organisations that prefer open standards to a closed platform.
Pricing
The Email Only plan costs CHF 5 per month. The full Kolab Now plan, including calendar, notes and contacts, costs CHF 9.90 per month.
