It provides browser based editors for text documents (Writer), spreadsheets (Calc), presentations (Impress) and vector graphics (Draw), and it is the engine behind cloud offerings such as Nextcloud Office.
It is listed here as self-hosted open source software, so it is not necessarily European: where it runs is entirely up to you. Installed on European servers it becomes a European alternative to Google Docs and Microsoft 365 for organisations that want collaborative editing without handing documents to a third party.
