Visitor aids and scans to support accessible websites
Accessibility tools can offer visitor-controlled display settings and identify some barriers in website code. Widgets and automated scanners have different roles; neither replaces accessible design or manual testing.
friendlyuse is an independently owned German option for visitor aids and single-page scans. Review its ownership and infrastructure evidence separately: a European owner does not establish European hosting.

friendlyuse
Visitor-controlled accessibility aids from Germany
friendlyuse adds an accessibility panel to a website with one script tag. Visitors get over 25 aids, including text size and spacing, contrast and colour filters, text-to-speech, a reading ruler, focus highlighting and animation controls. The widget supports ten languages and saves preferences in the visitor’s browser without a visitor account.
