WEB.DE is an email provider from Germany aimed mainly at the German speaking market. Accounts come with webmail, a calendar including CalDAV and contacts including CardDAV, so mail, appointments and address books can be synchronised to standard desktop and mobile clients.
Mail is hosted in Germany on servers of the cloud provider IONOS, which belongs to the same parent company, United Internet. That makes WEB.DE a European alternative to the American free mail services for people who want their mailbox under German jurisdiction.
Pricing
There is one free plan and two paid plans, at 5 euros and 6.99 euros per month.
