FFMUC DNS

Public DNS from a German non-profit

GermanyEUEU hostedOpen sourceFree plan

FFMUC DNS is a public DNS resolver operated by Freifunk München, a non-profit organisation in Germany. It answers plaintext DNS as well as DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS, so encrypted lookups work on desktop and mobile alike.

The servers are located in Germany and Austria, and the service is completely free of charge, funded by donations. Run by a community network rather than a company, it is a European alternative to the American public resolvers and suits people who prefer a non-commercial operator.
