The imprint verifies CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG and its general partner CRASH Verwaltungs GmbH. Its August 2025 release asserts independence from large investment structures. Historical holding links to the CRASH/Ashampoo group do not disclose the current ultimate owners' voting or veto rights, and no complete current control chain was obtained. Ultimate control remains unresolved; directors and supervisory-board members are not automatically treated as owners.

CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG provides newsletter creation, recipient lists, reporting and automated email workflows. The operator is registered in Oldenburg, HRA 4020, at Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, VAT DE230180364, and is represented by CRASH Verwaltungs GmbH, HRB 210079.

Published terms use German law and the provider's seat as forum. Its public DPA names AWS storage and processing in Ireland and Germany and German dispatch providers. European hosting locations, the company's independence statement and the CRASH/Ashampoo association do not by themselves establish ultimate ownership.

Pricing

At 500 recipients on 17 September 2026, Basic is €15/month and Pro €18/month; annual prepayment shows €13.50 and €16.20 monthly equivalents. Enterprise starts at €499/month for 250,000 emails, or €449.10/month equivalent annually. Prices exclude VAT. Lite offers 250 recipients and 1,000 emails/month with limited features; the free-account signup notice requires receiving provider news and advertising. The advertised Pro trial has eligibility limits. Monthly tariffs require one week's notice to term-end, annual tariffs one month, under the terms.

Public DPA example v5.2 Annex 2 lists AWS in Ireland and Germany for data storage, processing and email dispatch. Annex 3 also identifies AWS Ireland as an additional server site. The template references transfer SCCs and AWS's Data Privacy Framework certification; it is not a customer-specific executed annex.

Why this matters

Reviewed evidence places Amazon Web Services, Inc. in the core service path. Even when workloads stay in an EU region, the standard AWS infrastructure remains under US ultimate ownership. Treat it as the separately operated AWS European Sovereign Cloud only when the provider explicitly documents that deployment.
