Artikel10

Artikel10 operates a public DNS resolver supporting DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS. It is intended to protect DNS transport from observation and manipulation. Encrypted DNS does not hide all browsing activity from websites, networks or the resolver itself.

The operator is Artikel10 e.V., a German registered association. Its published statutes put constitutional decisions and board elections in the hands of the voting members' assembly. This documented association governance supports European control; it is not a company with a conventional shareholder cap table.

Artikel10 e.V. identifies its seat as Hamburg and its registration as Amtsgericht Hamburg VR 24066. The legal notice names Matthias Marx, Sven Mattsen and Olaf Rendel as board members. Under the published statutes the voting members' assembly is the highest decision-making body and elects the board; two board members represent the association jointly. Ordinary membership carries voting rights, with one non-transferable vote for an eligible member. This establishes the governance model used for the European-control verdict. A fresh official court extract and current membership roll were not obtained.

Pricing

The public DNS resolver is free. Association membership and donations support the organization but are not a resolver subscription. Published annual membership fees are 60 euro ordinarily, 30 euro reduced and 240 euro for legal entities.
