File transfers from France

This service remains visible for context, but it is not counted or recommended as a European-controlled option.
TransferNow is a file sharing service from France. You upload files in the browser and pass them on by link or email; free transfers require an email address, are limited to 5 GB and include advertisements.
The company is French, making it a European alternative to US transfer services for people who would rather their files passed through an EU provider. The free tier handles the occasional attachment that is too big for email, while the premium plan suits regular professional use.
Free transfers are limited to 5 GB and include advertising. The premium plan costs EUR 6 per month, raises the limit to 250 GB, removes the advertisements and adds features such as password protected files.
Data and operations
Verified operational dependencies, shown separately from ownership and from the service's core data hosting.
Public website
Why this matters
Public DNS routes website visits through Cloudflare. Visitor IP addresses and request metadata can reach this non-European provider; this does not identify the core service's data location.
Incoming business email
Why this matters
Published MX records route incoming business email through Google Workspace. Correspondent details and message content can therefore enter this non-European provider's systems; MX does not reveal the configured storage region.
