Timely is a time tracking app from Norway built around automatic tracking. It records the user's activities on the computer through the day, and you then assign that activity to tasks, instead of remembering to start and stop a timer.
The recorded activities are not visible to the employer, only the entries you create from them, which keeps automatic tracking from turning into surveillance. As a European alternative to US time trackers, it suits consultants and teams who lose billable hours to forgotten timers.
