S3 compatible object storage from France
FranceEU♻EU controlledScaleway Object Storage is the S3-compatible storage service of the French cloud provider Scaleway. Because it speaks the S3 API, existing tools, libraries and backup software work against it without changes, and a cold storage class is available for data that is rarely read.
Storing objects with a French provider is a European alternative to the American object storage services, and Scaleway servers run on renewable energy. It suits developers moving backups, media or application data off a US platform.
Pricing
Standard storage costs around 0.01 euro per GB per month. Incoming traffic is free and outgoing traffic is charged at 0.01 euro. Cold storage costs around 0.002 euro per GB per month, and moving data into it is free.
