OpenTalk is video conferencing software from Germany. OpenTalk GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Heinlein Support GmbH within the four-brand Heinlein Group, which has more than 150 employees and also runs mailbox.org. It has break-out rooms, voting and shared moderation for larger meetings and workshops.

OpenTalk is open source under the EUPL, the European Public Licence written for the legal framework of the EU, and the hosted service runs on Heinlein Gruppe infrastructure in Germany. That makes it a thoroughly European alternative to the American conferencing tools, well suited to public bodies and schools.

Pricing

The free plan allows calls of up to 30 minutes with a maximum of 5 participants. Paid plans start at 7.50 euro per user.
