Loxone

Loxone is a building and home automation system from Kollerschlag in Austria. It is built around the Miniserver, with wired Tree components and Air wireless components covering lighting, shading, heating and energy management, and the configuration tool is free.

An Austrian manufacturer and a wired backbone that keeps working without a cloud connection make Loxone a European alternative to the American smart home platforms. It is aimed at new builds and renovations carried out by professional installers rather than at do it yourself retrofitting.
