Leaseweb Object Storage
S3 object storage from Dutch provider Leaseweb
Leaseweb Object Storage is the object storage service of the Dutch cloud provider Leaseweb. It uses standard protocols and the S3 API to organise data into buckets and distributes it redundantly across geographically separated systems, which is aimed at large volumes that have to stay durable and available.
Leaseweb is headquartered in the Netherlands, which makes the service a European alternative to the American storage clouds. On-demand billing suits unpredictable growth, while the committed tier fits workloads whose volume is known in advance.
Pricing
Storage is billed per GB per month. On-demand usage carries no commitment, while the committed tier requires a minimum of 500 GB per month and is billed monthly. Incoming traffic is free.
