IONOS object storage

IONOS Object Storage is the object storage service of the German cloud provider IONOS. It is S3 compatible, so existing tools and libraries work with it directly, and there is no cold storage tier: everything you store stays immediately available.

IONOS runs data centres in Germany, the UK and the USA, with renewable energy at the European sites and its largest American one and carbon offset elsewhere. As a European alternative to the American storage clouds, it suits companies that want S3 storage billed by the gigabyte inside the EU.

Pricing

Storage costs 0.015 euros per GB per month and incoming traffic is free. API requests cost 0.04 euros per 10,000 PUT, COPY, POST or LIST calls and 0.003 euros per 10,000 GET calls, and outgoing traffic is billed separately.
