A content delivery network copies your static files to servers spread across many locations and serves each visitor from a nearby one. That cuts latency, absorbs traffic spikes and takes load off your origin server. Modern CDNs also handle image resizing, compression, cache rules and TLS termination, which makes them a standard layer in front of websites, media libraries and software downloads.
Every request from your visitors passes through the CDN, including their IP addresses and the pages they open, so the operator's jurisdiction matters. Bunny CDN, KeyCDN and Myra CDN are European providers in this list. If you want a European alternative to a US content delivery network, look at where log data is stored and how long it is kept before you move your DNS.

OVHcloud CDN is the content delivery network of the French cloud provider OVHcloud. It caches the static parts of your website on servers spread across the network, so images, stylesheets and scripts are delivered from a location near the visitor instead of from your origin server every time.
