BelgiumTeraShare is a peer to peer file sharing service from Belgium, based on the open source libtorrent library. Instead of uploading to a server, you and the person receiving the file both install TeraShare, and any file on your computer is then transferred directly between the two machines.
That approach means no storage provider sits between you and there is no copy of your file on someone else's servers. It is a free European alternative to US transfer services, which suits people who regularly send very large files to the same contacts.
