SUSE Virtualization is an open source hyperconverged infrastructure platform from the German vendor SUSE. It manages virtualised workloads in cloud native and hybrid environments, combining traditional virtual machine management with container based orchestration on a foundation built to enterprise data centre standards.

Because it is open source and comes from a European vendor, it is a European alternative to US hypervisor products for organisations that want to keep the virtualisation layer under their own control. It suits data centre teams consolidating virtual machines and containers onto one platform.
