Password Depot is a password manager for businesses, made by a German software company. It lets the customer decide where credentials and documents are kept: locally on a device, on a company-wide server, on USB media, or a combination of those. The chosen storage can be reached through smartphone apps and a web interface.
Because the storage location is picked by the customer rather than the vendor, Password Depot works as a European alternative for organisations that want credentials on infrastructure they control themselves. It suits IT departments and companies with internal rules about where sensitive data may live.
Pricing
Licensing is configured on the vendor website. A sample configuration for five users without maintenance costs a one-time 499 euro.
