European alternatives to Docusign

Docusign is an electronic signature platform from the United States. You upload a contract, drop signature and date fields onto it, and send it to the people who need to sign, who complete it in a browser without printing anything. The service tracks who signed and when, stores an audit trail with the finished document, and connects to CRM and document systems through its API.

Signed agreements are exactly the documents a company must be able to produce years later, and in the EU their legal weight is governed by the eIDAS regulation, which brings identification and certificate providers into the picture. A European alternative to Docusign keeps both the signing flow and the archive with an EU or EFTA supplier.
