OsmAnd

Offline open source navigation app for phones

NetherlandsEUOpen sourceFree plan

OsmAnd is a navigation app for Android and iOS, based in the Netherlands, that works offline using the open map data of OpenStreetMap. You download the areas you need in advance and then navigate without a data connection. Next to the main app there are separate apps for specific uses, such as skiing or nautical charts.

OsmAnd is open source and community driven, which makes it a European alternative to the American navigation apps, without your routes and locations feeding an advertising profile. It suits outdoor users, sailors and travellers who go where the network does not reach.
