OpenProject is a project management software from Germany. It is open source and can be self-hosted, with a cloud option for teams that do not want to run it themselves. Everything is built around tasks, which anyone can create and which can be assigned and then viewed as a kanban board, a timeline or a calendar, depending on how you plan. Other services can be connected, and the API lets you build your own integrations.

OpenProject can be hosted on EU cloud providers, which makes it a European alternative to the American project tools for organisations with data protection requirements.

Prices are configured on the pricing page. A self-hosted instance for 50 users with email support, for example, costs 5.95 euro per user per month. Special pricing is available for NGOs and educational institutions.
