n8n is a workflow automation platform from Berlin. Workflows are assembled in a visual node editor with hundreds of ready made integrations, and where the standard nodes stop you can drop in JavaScript or Python. AI agent nodes let a workflow call a model as one of its steps.
n8n is published under a fair-code licence, so you can self-host it for free, while n8n Cloud is hosted in the EU. That combination makes it a European alternative to Zapier and the other American automation services, and it suits developers and technical teams that want automation they can inspect and run themselves.
