Mendix is a low-code platform from Rotterdam in the Netherlands, owned by Siemens. It is used to build web and mobile business applications from visual models, with workflow modelling for the processes behind them, and there is a free tier for people learning the platform.
Dutch development inside a German parent company makes Mendix a European alternative to the American enterprise low-code platforms. It suits larger organisations that need to deliver line of business applications quickly while keeping development under a governed process.
