Scope verdict

Ownership reviewed, controller unresolved

This service remains visible for context, but it is not counted or recommended as a European-controlled option.

How we classify services

Mapy.com is a navigation app from the Czech Republic, made by the Czech internet company Seznam.cz. There are apps for Android, iOS and AppGallery, and the app can calculate routes for driving, cycling, public transport and walking, which makes it useful in a city as well as on a hiking trail.

Mapy.com is hosted in the EU and comes from a long established Czech company, so it is a genuine European alternative to the American navigation apps. It suits anyone who wants one app for daily commutes, trips abroad and outdoor routes.
