Magic Earth

Magic Earth is a navigation app for Android and iOS, made in the Netherlands. It is built on OpenStreetMap data and works offline, so you can plan and follow a route without a data connection. Routing covers several ways of travelling, not just driving, and a free plan gives you the basic navigation features.

As a European alternative to the big American mapping apps, Magic Earth relies on community map data instead of a commercial map platform. The paid plan adds offline maps, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It suits drivers, cyclists and travellers who want turn by turn guidance without handing their movements to an advertising company.
