Is Wero European?

Verified European

Yes. Wero is under verified European control.

No single shareholder controls EPI. Its latest filed shareholder list, for the end of 2024, shows 16 European banks and payment companies with between 4.55% and 6.49% each, and the two Austrian banking groups that joined in 2026 are European too. Control therefore sits jointly with European financial institutions. EPI has raised new capital since then and has not published how the new shares were split.
