Yes. Capture One is under verified European control.

Capture One is controlled by Axcel, a private equity firm whose management company is in Copenhagen. Axcel bought Phase One, Capture One's former parent, in 2019, and the Danish company register shows its fund Axcel V K/S as the largest holder at the top of the chain, with 50 to 66.66% of the votes; every other registered owner in the chain is also Danish. In 2026 the press reported that Axcel is trying to sell Capture One. No buyer had been announced by 1 November 2026, and the verdict needs a new check when one is.

Axcel V K/S is a Danish limited partnership bound by its general partner Axcel V GP ApS, which the Copenhagen foundation Axcel GP Fonden owns, and Axcel's management company, Axcel Management A/S, is in Copenhagen.
